This industry generates over 38,500 direct and indirect jobs in Northwestern Mexico alone.
Bringing together over 4,500 businessmen, investors, traders, machinery and imputs suppliers, academic researchers and students from around the world, to present topics and ideas to exchange experiences with the purpose driving the aquaculture industry into being sustainable and profitable.
VENUE:
The event will take place at the Mazatlan International Center, in February.
OBJECTIVES:
- To present a positive image of the Mexican aquaculture industry to the world.
- To promote Mexico's leadership internationally in eco-efficient and sustainable food production.
- To attract investments in this industry to take advantage of its existing infrastructure and to create jobs.
- To involve both domestic and foreign aquaculture sectors in finding solutions, with the purpose of achieving a profitable and sustainable level of production that provides healthy and safe food with an inexhaustible supply for humanity.

- The PROMEXICO Business Center is where business will be conducted with buyers that are interested in Mexican aquaculture and seafood products for export to major international markets.
- It's where data will be offered on the latest trends for aquaculture development, industrial processing, added-value and the industrialization of sub-products, to encourage joint ventures with businessmen of our Country.
