Among the main cultural products offered Mazatlán, you would find the The Angela PeraltaTheater, the quintessential cultural precinct in the city and an invaluable piece of architecture built in the late nineteenth century. Mazatlán’s Culture is the birthplace and headquarters of important exponents of Mexican art and it’s also linked to figures of the universal culture as the opera diva Angela Peralta.
Together, the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Art house steeped in history and pieces that date back almost 2000 years. The first, a journey through the major stages in the history of Sinaloa, while the second one located just few steps from the first, highlighted the variety of cultural activities carried out in this place and the various artistic works of major Mexican artists as Rufino Tamayo and Jose Luis Cuevas, as well as hosting outstanding international artists.
